HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – The Marshall University Baseball team (16-18) heads north to Columbus, Ohio, for a contest at Ohio State on Wednesday.

PRE-GAME NOTES

The Herd captured a series win over Old Dominion at home over the weekend.
Evan Bottone is third in the SBC with a .381 batting average and fourth in on-base percentage at .475.
Tyler Kamerer and Cooper Hinson are neck-and-neck for the team lead in doubles at 13 and 12, respectively, with both sitting in the top 10 in the SBC.
Kamerer also sits second in the SBC with 40 runs scored.
AJ Havrilla ranks 26th nationally with 34 walks during the 2026 season.

ABOUT THE BUCKEYES

Ohio State is coming off a series win over Penn State last weekend.
Henry Kaczmar sits 17th in the country with 15 doubles and leads the Big Ten.
The Buckeyes have stolen 51 bases this season, third most in the Big Ten, with Lee Ellis sitting at a team-best 13.
