Made two appearances out of the bullpen against Saint Louis (Feb. 17) and at Charleston Southern (Feb. 24) before missing the rest of the season due to injury.
High School: Attended and played baseball at Danville High School in Kentucky for six seasons…during his senior season he pitched 66.2 innings, giving up only 42 hits while striking out 121 batters with a 2.24 ERA…was named 12-Region Tournament MVP, to the All-A Classic All-Tournament Team and a Perfect Game All-American.
Personal: Born Dec. 18, 2003…son of Melissa and James Baxter…has two siblings, Austin and Hunter Baxter…in his spare time, his favorite hobbies are playing video games, spending time with family and friends, and going fishing.
