2009-10: Took first place in the shot put in back-to-back weeks, winning first at the EKU Invitational with a throw of 12.61m, then won the Stan Lyons Invitational with a distance of 12.80m (42.02 feet).
2008 Outdoor: Earned five top ten finishes...finished eigthth in the shot put at the Asics/Winthrop Invitational measuring 12.27m...bset hammer throw mark came at the C-USA Championships hitting 40.58m placing 21st.
2008 Indoor: Competed in the weight throw and shot put events...finished 10th in the shot put at the Niswonger Invitational with a mark of 41-00.25...best weight throw mark came at the Oilers Open measuring 43-05.00.
2007 Outdoor: Competed in the shot put, discus and hammer throw events...finished a best in the shot put at the UNC Invitaional placing sixth with a throw of 12.58m.
2007 Indoor: Finished sixth in the shot put at Holiday Classic...finished in the top 10 in the shot put four out of six meets.
Prior to Marshall: Four-time state champion in the shot put while at Pikeview...holds the Pikeville school record, 43[apos]5' in the shot put and shot record at the Garet Relay...earned the Individual Achievement of the Year award in 2006...also lettered in basketball and softball.
Personal: Born on March 3, 1988...daughter of Connie Sauls and John Rumburg...major is undecided.
