R-SENIOR SEASON (2024): Started all 13 games at left tackle for Marshall. Was a key component of the 2024 offensive line that helped Marshall average nearly 32 points per game while finishing in the top-20 nationally in rushing.
HERD FILE: Ellis comes to Marshall from Baylor where he was a two-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll honoree while studying kinesiology. Played in five games in the 2023 season for the Bears, including four games in Big 12 action. Out of high school, Ellis did not allow a sack during his senior season and was ranked as the 181st prospect in the state of Texas.
