R-JUNIOR SEASON (2024) - Started in 11 games before missing final two games of season due to injury. Became one of the defensive vocal leaders and finished with 65 tackles and 4.0 tackles for loss while adding an interception. Set a career-high in tackles in the matchup with Virginia Tech when he had 12 tackles and a tackle for loss against the Hokies. Also reached double-figures in tackles against Coastal Carolina with 10 and followed that up with nine against Old Dominion - his final appearance of the season. His interception came against Southern Miss when he caught a deflected pass from Ian Foster and raced 12 yards to the end zone.
R-SOPHOMORE SEASON (2023) - Saw limited action in 11 games in 2023. Appeared mostly on special teams. Had four tackles and a fumble recovery, which came against Coastal Carolina.
HERD FILE: Born November 5, 2002 ... Majoring in Health Studies ... Played on TCU's 2022 team that appeared in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game ... Parents are Felicia and Bandy Watson.
