PRIOR TO MARSHALL: Was a four-year player at Appalachian State, Marshall's Sun Belt East Division rival. Saw action in 49 games, including 11 games in 2022 where he made eight starts at outside linebacker. Finished the 2022 season with 39 tackles and 5.5 tackles for loss with two forced fumbles. Had a career-high 10 tackles and two forced fumbles against The Citadel.
HERD FILE: Signed with Marshall in December and enrolled in January. Versatile standout at Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School in Columbia, South Carolina where he was a USA Today All-South Carolina pick with nearly 100 tackles for a team that went 10-2 his senior year. Majoring in General Studies. Son of Tirrea Brown. Has cousins playing at Wake Forest and South Florida.
