HERD FILE: Viechec comes to Marshall after three years at Southeastern where he totaled 189 tackles, including 20.5 tackles for loss while adding 7.5 sacks and three fumble recoveries. In 2022, he finished with 88 tackles with eight tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. The Naples, Fla., native was the Sun Conference Defensive Player of the Year and Linebacker of the Year.
PERSONAL: Transferred to Marshall from Southeastern. In high school, was a standout at Naples High School, even earning Southwest Florida All-Decade accolades. His mother is Tiffany Viechec. Majoring in Psychology.
