HERD FILE: Davis comes to Marshall from Michigan State where he was a defensive back for the Spartans. The Lake Wales, Fla., native was an Academic All-Big Ten honoree who did not see any game action in 2024. Davis was ranked among the top cornerbacks in the nation by On3 (No. 90) and listed as one of the top safeties in the country by 247Sports (No. 111) while also being rated among the top overall players in the state of Florida in the Class of 2023 by On3 (No. 116).
