SOPHOMORE SEASON (2022): Missed much of the season due to injury, which led to a medical redshirt. Still came back for the final three games of the season and rushed for 273 yards with one touchdown … Was named MVP of the 2022 Myrtle Beach Bowl after rushing for 92 yards and a touchdown on 15 carries in the win over UConn … Garnered his lone 100-yard game of the season with a 102-yard effort in the win over Georgia State.
FRESHMAN SEASON (2021): Was one of the nation’s premier running backs in the 2021 season, finishing with 1,401 yards and 23 touchdowns on 250 carries … Had eight games with multiple touchdowns and six games of 100 yards or more … Ali’s 23 rushing touchdowns tied for the most in FBS. … Rushed for 160 yards and three touchdowns against Louisiana in the 2021 New Orleans Bowl … Set a career-high with 203 yards and three touchdowns against Charlotte on Nov. 20 … Had 189 yards and three touchdowns against East Carolina on Sept. 18 … In first game as starter, Ali had four rushing touchdowns in blowout win at Navy to start the season.
FRESHMAN SEASON (COVID-2020): Played in 6 games, mostly on special teams. Logged 22 yards rushing on five carries and 76 kick return yards.
