Track and Field Hosts Marshall Invitational On Senior Day

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. – Marshall track and field will host the seventh annual Marshall Invitational Saturday at the Jeff Small Track at the Chris Cline Athletic Complex.
No spectators are allowed.
The meet begins at 11 a.m. and is a quad meet, with the Herd set to compete against FIU, Murray State and Ohio.
It is the final regular season meet of the indoor season for the Thundering Herd, with the Conference USA Indoor Championships set to take place next weekend in Birmingham, Alabama. Marshall took first place overall at each of its previous two meets at home, including last week in the Marshall Classic.
The meet will also honor the cross country/track and field program's seniors. Senior recognition begins at 12:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on the team's Instagram account, @HerdTFXC.
