2012: Started his career going 5-for-9 in his first two games...recorded his first base hit against Canisius in his third collegiate plate appearance (2/18)...drove in seven runs over his first four games before cooling off...hit his first home run - a grand slam - against Gardner-Webb (3/10)...batted .239 for the season with 14 RBIs and 11 runs...was successful in his only stolen base attempt of the season.
High School: Played baseball at Collins Hill High School...accumulated a .392 average and two homeruns in his junior year.
Personal: Born on July 2, 1991...son of Adrian and Dawn Farris...has an older brother...majoring in business management.
