Career: Recruited as a catcher but is utilized in many other aspects of the game...has great speed around the bases and a canon for an arm.
2012: Started 13 games and served and important role as a backup for Thor Meeks...batted .132 and was never able to find a rhythm behind the plate...launched a rare triple in a 2-for-5 outing against Coppin State (4/10)...manufactured two runs in a hitless performance against Morehead State (3/13)...did not commit an error in 91 fielding chances.
2011: Appeared in 19 games with nine starts...batted .226 (7-for-31)...recorded his first collegiate hit against Ball State (3/5) in a 2-for-4, 2-RBI outing...tallied three RBIs and four runs scored...led the non-starters on the team with four sacrifice hits.
High School: Earned Kentucky First Team All-State as a senior...ranked the 24th best prospect in Kentucky by iHigh Top 100...selected as a Perfect Game/Rawlings Honorable Mention player...West Jessamine HS finished with a 33-9 record in 2010...named an All-Region 12 and Kentucky Junior All-Star team member...threw out 32-of-39 attempted base stealers and knocked in 32 runs as a junior.
