SOPHOMORE SEASON (2014): Finished tied with fellow safety AJ Leggett for seventh on team in tackles with 63, including 38 solos ... Had 2.5 tackles for loss and recovered a fumble (Akron) ... Played 556 snaps in 12 games, starting three (Rhode Island, Ohio, Akron) ... Made second career interception in Marshall's Week 4 romp at Akron ... Had seven passes defended on the season ... Career-high 10 tackles in victory over Ohio, and had second straight big bowl performance, with nine in Boca Raton Bowl win over Northern Illinois (after eight solos the previous year in Military Bowl). FRESHMAN SEASON (2013): One of only seven true freshmen to play for 2013 Herd and only true freshman starter for the Herd in season-ending Military Bowl ... Started last seven games of season, playing in 13 (missing only opener versus Miami of Ohio) ... Finished season with 41 tackles (27 solos), and a forced fumble ... First career interception came in crucial late-season win at Tulsa ... Made season-high eight tackles -- all solos -- in Military Bowl victory over Maryland ... Made 73 tackles and three interceptions for Lowndes in his senior season. He also rushed 15 times for 186 yards and two TDs ...
